Maxtop Quartz has been put to the test by a family in Denton, Tameside who needed a tough yet beautiful kitchen surface to suit the lifestyle of a busy household with three children.
Scott and his wife Claire chose the Maxtop Quartz surface in Alba for its classical marble design combined with its exceptional durability. With all the benefits of natural stone and resistance to spills, scratches, marks and stains, the installation provided a stylish finishing touch to their new kitchen/dining room.
Scott explains more about the renovation: “We decided to modernise the whole downstairs of our house and wanted to make the kitchen the heart of our home, where my family and I intend to spend a lot of time, so I needed something durable and ‘kid’ proof.
“We designed our kitchen around the worktops, because our hearts were set on the Alba finish as soon as we saw it. We used the breakfast bar as an island splitting the kitchen and dining room, so with its pre-finished edges it was the right decision to use Maxtop. The marbled grey effect goes perfectly with my slate grey doors and grey units and really delivers the – WOW factor!
“We are more than happy with the product and have had so many great comments about our worktops and a lot of kitchen envy. My parents are about to renovate their new bungalow and have already decided Maxtop Quartz is the product for them. It is was a beautiful addition to our home and I really believe using anything else wouldn’t have given us the desired finish we wanted.”
